These papers are a combination of media
and painting techniques, utilizing a first step of rubbed
wax patterning and lines and motifs drawn with my specially
formulated oil pastels. The papers are then painted with
various types of plain and metallic mixtures and more
dynamic paints are spattered on for the textural effects.
Some have more color motifs applied with a fine tipped
bottle. Most Zippy papers have a final spattered texture
with acrylic and metallic oil paints.These are very complex
surfaces and take more hand work than some our other
papers.
